PNRR will enable the digital transformation of Romanian society, by financing the design and development of the digital infrastructure, the software applications necessary for the digitization of the processes within the administration and the private business environment, respectively through an extensive training and professional training process in the IT&C field.

Among the 15 components of PNRR, Component 9. Support for the private sector, research, development and innovation - dedicates 1.06 billion euros, i.e. more than 17.7% of the total amount of 5.976 billion euros intended for digital transition, digitization and digital transformation of the economic environment in Romania:

SUMMARY Component 9. Support for the private sector, research, development and innovation
GENERAL OBJECTIVE
The main objective of the component is the creation of a sustainable, predictive and simplified environment for the development of business activities, increasing access to financing, through the development of tools adapted to the needs of businesses, with an emphasis on the contribution to climate change and the digital transition, increasing the capacity for innovation of the CDI system for the creation of research-business environment synergies, as well as the development of the necessary premises for the sustainable reform of state companies;
