Digitization through PNRR || Component 7. Digital transformation

By allocating the sum of 1.884 billion euros within the PNRR, related to Component 7 - Digital transformation, Romania aims to create a coherent digital infrastructure, integrated at the public administration level, which offers high-quality digital services to both citizens and companies.

PNRR va permite transformarea digitală a societății romanești, prin  finanțarea infrastructurii  digitale, a  aplicatiilor software necesare digitalizării proceselor din cadrul  administratiei si a afacerilor, resprectiv printr-un amplu proces de instruire si formare profesionale in domeniul IT&C

Compared to the other 14 components of the PNRR, Component 7 allocates 1.884 billion euros, i.e. over 31% of the total of 5.976 billion euros, made available to the administration and the economic environment in Romania, for digitization and digital transformation:

Summary: Component 7. Digital transformation

GENERAL OBJECTIVE

The creation of a coherent, integrated digital infrastructure at the level of the public administration in Romania that offers high-quality digital services to both citizens and companies. By achieving this objective, the conditions are created for the adoption of digital technologies in all sectors and fields of activity of the state institutions and for increasing the number of citizens and companies that will be able to benefit and reap the benefits offered by digitalization. The large-scale implementation of digital solutions will contribute to increasing the degree of transparency of the activity of state authorities and reducing bureaucratic barriers, also contributing to the achievement of sustainable development objectives.

A. DIGITAL PUBLIC SERVICES FOR CITIZENS AND COMPANIES

C. CYBER SECURITY

R3. Ensuring the cyber security of public and private entities that own critical infrastructures
